Welcome to Moneystalks! By accessing or using our platform, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms of Use. Please read these terms carefully, as they contain important information about your rights and obligations under Australian Consumer Law (ACL).

Moneystalks provides financial education for small business owners through a subscription-based community, one-off events, and courses. Our services are intended for users aged 18 and over.

  • Subscription Services: Our community membership is offered on a monthly or annual basis. Annual subscriptions are available at a discounted rate compared to the monthly option.
  • One-off Events and Courses: We offer individual events and courses that require separate payments

 

3. User Obligations and Responsibilities

  • Account Registration: To access our services, you must create an account with your name and email address. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information.
  • Community Guidelines: We expect all users to engage respectfully and constructively. Inappropriate, mean, or rude comments are not tolerated and may result in your removal from the platform. Personal or private information should not be disclosed within the community. Please review the Moneystalks Community Guidelines for more information.
  • User Content: Moneystalks reserves the right to review and remove any content that violates our guidelines or is otherwise deemed inappropriate.

4. Payment and Billing

  • Payment Methods: Payments are processed through Stripe, which accepts various payment methods, including credit and debit cards.
  • Pricing: All prices listed are inclusive of GST.
  • Processing Fees: While Moneystalks does not charge any additional processing fees, third-party payment processors may apply their own fees.
  • Refund Policy:
    • Subscription Services: You may cancel your monthly subscription at any time. Please note that cancellation will take effect at the end of the current billing cycle, and no refunds will be provided for any unused portion of your subscription.
    • One-off Events and Courses: The payments for events and courses are non-refundable unless the service is not provided as described or fails to meet consumer guarantees under Australian Consumer Law. In such cases, you may be entitled to a refund, replacement, or compensation as required by law.
    • You are entitled to change your event date up to 48hrs before the course begins, if you fail to show up or attempt to change within the 48hr window you forfeit the payment all together.
  • Consumer Guarantees: Moneystalks is committed to providing services with due care and skill, ensuring they are fit for purpose and as described. If any service does not meet these guarantees, you are entitled to remedies in accordance with ACL.

5. Intellectual Property

  • Ownership: Moneystalks owns all content developed within our community and courses.
  • Permitted Use: Users are granted a limited license to use the content for personal educational purposes only. Redistribution, reproduction, or modification of any content is strictly prohibited unless expressly authorised by Moneystalks.
  • Copyright Infringement: Unauthorised use of our content may result in legal action, including but not limited to claims for damages.

6. Privacy and Data Protection

  • Data Collection: We collect personal information, including your name and email address, when you register for an account. Payment details are collected and processed by Stripe.
  • Data Usage: Your personal information is used solely for providing and improving our services. Moneystalks does not share your contact details with any third parties, except as required by law or necessary to provide our services (e.g., payment processing).

  • Educational Purposes: All content and information provided by Moneystalks is intended for general educational purposes only. It is not tailored to your specific circumstances and does not constitute corporate or financial advice.
  • No Guarantees: While we strive to provide accurate and up-to-date information, Moneystalks does not guarantee the completeness, accuracy, or reliability of any content on our platform. Users should seek independent professional advice where necessary.
  • Mentoring Services: Our mentoring services include an audit of your current business systems and processes, along with advice to improve these systems. However, no financial or corporate advice will be given regarding your business. Instead, the mentoring approach is collaborative, aiming to understand your current situation, anticipate likely future developments, and provide general business coaching. The advice provided is intended to support your business growth but should not be relied upon as financial or corporate decision-making guidance.

8. Termination and Suspension

  • Termination by Moneystalks: We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your account if you engage in inappropriate actions, violate these Terms of Use, or breach our community guidelines.
  • Termination by Users: You may terminate your account at any time by following the account deletion process on Mighty Networks. Please note that termination will not entitle you to a refund for any unused portion of your subscription or services.
  • Platform Management: Account termination is managed through Mighty Networks, and Moneystalks is not responsible for any delays or issues related to the termination process.

9. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

  • Governing Law: These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of Australia.
  • Dispute Resolution: While we do not specify a formal dispute resolution process, we encourage users to contact us directly at hello@moneystalks.com.au if any issues arise. We will make every effort to resolve disputes amicably and promptly.

10. Changes to Terms
